CAROLINE K. HICKS
LITIGATION
Caroline is an Associate in the litigation department and is licensed to practice in both South Carolina and North Carolina. Caroline’s practice focuses on construction defect, personal injury, and general civil litigation. Caroline graduated from Clemson University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and International Trade. During her time at Clemson, Caroline studied abroad for a summer in Sevilla, Spain and for a semester in Córdoba, Argentina. After graduating from Clemson, she attended the Charleston School of Law, where she graduated cum laude in 2021.
While in law school, Caroline was a Presidential Honors Scholar, and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for earning the highest grade in her Torts class. Caroline was a member of Charleston Law’s Trial Advocacy, and she competed remotely in a national trial competition. Caroline was a member of Law Review, where she served as the Assistant Symposium Editor. She was also a member of The Immigration Law Association, where she served as Social Chair and Secretary.
During law school, Caroline had the opportunity to spend a summer studying international law in Granada, Spain. She also worked at a personal injury firm in Charleston where she focused on pre-litigation practice.
Originally from Aiken, South Carolina, Caroline now lives in West Ashley with her fiancé and her two dogs. In her free time, Caroline enjoys traveling, playing tennis and pickleball, watching Clemson football and entertaining her dogs.
