DAVID B. CRUMP
LITIGATION
David is an associate on the Firm’s litigation team. A Charleston native, David graduated from First Baptist School of Charleston in 2003 before attending the College of Charleston, where he earned his degree in political science.
Before pursuing a career in law, David worked in the real estate and development industry, where his experience in the field provided him with firsthand exposure to the business and practical considerations that often underlie complex disputes. David later attended the Charleston School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2025.
Following law school, David served as a law clerk to the Honorable Dale E. Van Slambrook, Circuit Court Judge in the Ninth Judicial Circuit. His time with the court provided invaluable civil litigation experience and insight into the judicial process. Additionally, this experience shaped his approach to analyzing legal issues, developing litigation strategies, and advocating for clients.
David joined Luzuriaga Mims, LLP following his clerkship. His diverse professional background gives him a practical perspective on the issues facing clients.
David lives on James Island with his wife and their two daughters. Outside of the office, David spends as much of his free time as possible on the boat with his family, enjoying the waterways around Charleston.
