Elizabeth is a retired founding Partner of LM Law. Her practice focuses on state and federal workers' compensation, including concurrent jurisdiction under the South Carolina Workers' Compensation Act/Georgia Workers’ Compensation Act and the Longshore & Harbor Workers' Compensation Act. In addition to her litigation practice, Elizabeth was a Certified Mediator and also counseled many clients in pre-claim settings to assist in proactively lowering her clients’ workers' compensation costs. She has spoken at national and regional conferences on her areas of practice.

Elizabeth is a 1984 graduate of Georgetown University, and she earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1987.  She enjoys an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell indicating the highest level of ethical and professional excellence from her peers. She has also been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers. Elizabeth has also been named to U.S. News Best Lawyers in America every year since 2010 and, in 2012, she had the honor of being named Best Lawyers Defense Attorney of the Year in the area of Workers' Compensation Law - Employers. She served as an adjunct faculty member of the Charleston School of Law from 2009-2014 teaching a class on the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Act.
