LIZ D. WILES
WORKERS' COMPENSATION DEFENSE
Liz is an associate in the firm’s workers’ compensation division. Her practice focuses on state and federal workers’ compensation, including concurrent jurisdiction under the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Act and the Longshore & Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.
Liz earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Kentucky and her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the Charleston School of Law. While in law school, Liz served as an Articles Editor and Associate Student Works Editor for the Charleston Law Review. She also received the CALI Award for highest grade in her Fall 2013 Professional Responsibility and Spring 2014 Trial Advocacy courses. Prior to joining Luzuriaga Mims, Liz served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Kristi Lea Harrington, resident judge for the Ninth Circuit, for over two years.
Hailing from a small farm town in western Kentucky, Liz currently resides in rural Berkeley County with her husband and three cats. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, and visiting a new National Park each year.
