Whit is a Partner in the firm's litigation division. His practice focuses on insurance defense, construction defect, products liability, premises liability, personal injury and general civil litigation. He is admitted to practice in the State of South Carolina and before the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. He is a member of the Charleston County Bar, South Carolina Bar, and American Bar Association.

 

Originally from Manakin-Sabot, Virginia, Whit attended high school at Woodberry Forest School in Orange, Virginia. He attended Wofford College and graduated in 2007 with a B.A. in Government. After college, he attended Charleston School of Law where he was a member of the Moot Court Board. In 2012, Whit went to work as an attorney for Pierce Herns Sloan & Wilson, LLC in Charleston, prior to joining Luzuriaga Mims, LLP.
